Rooted in Thomasville. Rising for Tomorrow.
“Chair City Rising was created to meet a need we could no longer ignore. Too many young people in our community are full of potential but lack the support, exposure, and opportunities to fully realize it.
Our mission is simple: to build confident readers, introduce students to STEM, and develop the next generation of leaders right here in Thomasville.
As a Thomasville native and educator, I’ve seen firsthand the gaps that exist for our students. Chair City Rising is our response, a program built by the community, for the community, designed to uplift, challenge, and empower our youth.
This isn’t just a program, it’s a commitment to the future of our city.”
